High schools of the Glendale Union High School District
are seeking to stay in touch with former graduates in order
to build a database of current addresses of alumni. We want
to supply our reunion committees with the best list possible
as they plan their class reunions. Currently, we have more
than 118,000 graduates from our district, so many reunions
are being planned each year. We want to be sure that no one
misses out.
Information gathered will not be sold. It is strictly for
school district use for the purposes of planning your class
reunion.
District high schools include: Apollo, Cortez, Glendale,
Greenway, Independence, Moon Valley, Sunnyslope, Thunderbird
and Washington, Metrocenter Academy and Chris-Town
Academy.

Glendale High Holds Seconds Annual Alumni Homecoming
January 2007 - The Glendale High School Cardinal Booster Club will be holding its second annual Cardinal Alumni & Community Homecoming at Glendale High School on Feb. 10.
The event, which celebrates the school's rich 96-year history, will include a car show from noon to 4 p.m. and a health fair organized by the school's Interact Club from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will also be musical entertainment, food booths, a raffle, and a silent auction.
The festivities will conclude with a generation-spanning Alumni and Student Dance from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Music will be provided by The Factory, which consists of Glendale graduates from the class of 1969 who played in a band of the same name as students. Other graduates from the class of 1971 formed a brass section and sit in with the band on some songs. Current Glendale students heard the band play at last year's Alumni & Community Homecoming and enjoyed the music so much the student council asked to combine their sweetheart dance with this year's alumni dance.
The Cardinal Alumni & Community Homecoming is open to the public and is free of charge. Admission to the dance is $5 for students and $10 for adults. Glendale High School is located at 6216 W. Glendale Ave. The Cardinal Alumni & Community Homecoming is sponsored by the City of Glendale and the Glendale Union High School District.
