Sunnyslope High School is showing off its accomplishments on a new marquee with lighting and digital messages.
The beautiful new addition was made possible through the generous donations of the Viking Class of 2001 and the Viking Parents Club.
The marquee can announce messages continuously on a rolling' or a 'still' format. It is prominently displayed on Dunlap Avenue in front of the school.
Drive by 35 West Dunlap and take a look.
First Place for Moon Valley spiritline
The Moon Valley High School varsity spiritline won first
place in the 2002 State Championship for the AIA 4A Show Cheer.
Anne Fraley is the MVHS spiritline coach.

Washington High Spirit ShinesWashington High School cheerleader Emilia Epperty received a $1,500 scholarship to the college of her choice as the winner of the 2002 Arizona Spirit Association Scholarship. Every year the spirit association awards one Arizona senior cheerleader and one senior pommie with a scholarship. Kelli Abramovich is Emi's coach. The first ever AIA State Spiritline Championship was held in 2002. WHS was the only school to take home four awards which included First Place in the 'all guys' stunt, Second Place in 4A co-ed cheer, and seconds in mascot and partner stunts. |
Greenway Coach Named Top in the State for 2001-2002
Mike Brown, Greenway High School football coach, has been named 4A Region Coach of the Year.
