September 2008 –Local Greenway Student Council, National Honor Society, and Key Club students and parents worked with Graffiti Busters to tackle local graffiti. Four hours was devoted to painting fences and other property vandalized by taggers. Paint and supplies were provided through City of Phoenix’ Graffiti Busters program.
