March 2008 -Washington High School French teacher, Cinthia Darrow, received the Silver Apple Award. The award, sponsored by channel 3 and Sylvan learning center was presented to Mrs. Darrow in front of her students from her advanced french class. Along with the award, Mrs. Darrow received a check for $500.
