Students Learn How to Build Pathway for Acceptance at America’s Top Colleges and Universities at Annual Event

This is the image for the news article titled Students Learn How to Build Pathway for Acceptance at America’s Top Colleges and Universities at Annual Event December 2018 – The Glendale Union High School District is proud to offer its third annual Pathway to America’s Top Colleges and Universities event on Jan. 10, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Moon Valley High School. This signature event will introduce 9th-11th grade students and their families to distinguished college and university opportunities. Alumni and current students from the nation’s top schools will be onsite to answer questions for families to learn more about higher education opportunities. The information evening will also include nine different sessions that explain valuable information such as financial aid, student scholarships and resume building.

A Financial Aid Forecaster (Recommended for 9th and 10th graders)

Taking the First Step
Beginning the FAFSA Process (Recommended for 11th graders)

How Can I Afford This?
Paying for College – What You Need To Know (Recommended for all grades)

Pursuing Top Scholarships (Recommended for all grades)

Tips for a Successful Application (Recommended for 11th graders)

What School to Choose & What Matters To You and Them (Recommended for all grades)

An Essay Writing Workshop (Recommended for 11th graders)

Don’t miss out on your opportunity to gain significant information from some of the most prestigious colleges and universities around the country! The event kicks off at 6:00 p.m. in the Moon Valley High School Auditorium, located at 3625 W. Cactus Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85029. Check-in and a social gathering in the Moon Valley Quad will begin at 5:30 p.m. Professional attire is requested.
