The presentation continued with a focus on the district's impressive Shift to Remote Learning, and how teachers were able to remain effective and provide the best learning experience to students despite the challenges they faced by the pandemic. Whether it was the process of creating and providing valuable resources to students and families, or teachers attending virtual professional development workshops over summer, GUHSD ensured students were well-equipped for success no matter the learning environment. Participants were also able to hear testimonials from students and teachers from across the district, and how they have successfully transitioned to remote learning because of the district's support.
