ISOLATION
Tested POSITIVE (symptomatic or not)
- Stay home for 5 days (from onset of symptoms or test date – whichever came first)
- If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are resolving after 5 days, and you have no fever (without medicine that reduces fever) for 24 hours you can return on day 6
- Continue to wear mask
Symptomatic but tested NEGATIVE
- If your symptoms are resolving and you have no fever (without medicine that reduces fever) for 24 hours you can return
- Continue to wear mask
Symptomatic but NOT TESTING
- Stay home for 5 days from onset of symptoms
- If your symptoms are resolving after 5 days, and you have no fever (without medicine that reduces fever) for 24 hours you can return on day 6
- Continue to wear mask
CLOSE CONTACT within 6 ft for 15 minutes of someone who has tested positive (both people are wearing a mask)
Symptomatic
- Follow isolation guidelines above
Asymptomatic
- No isolation/quarantine required
- Continue to wear mask
- Test on day 5, if possible
COVID OUTBREAK INFORMATION
Maricopa County Department of Public Health classifies an outbreak as at least two COVID cases linked to students or staff who could have been close contacts in the school with a confirmed COVID case within a 14-day period
The school will communicate with all families if there is an outbreak of COVID.
