Thunderbird NJROTC Participates in Pearl Harbor 70th Anniversary Ceremony
December 2011- Thunderbird High School's NJROTC cadets had the opportunity to assist with the Pearl Harbor 70th anniversary ceremony at Wesley Bolin Plaza in Phoenix, a site which includes memorial statues dedicated to Pearl Harbor and other significant events in which Americans lost their lives.

Hundreds of people, including Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett, gathered to honor those lost in the Pearl Harbor attack, and the THS cadets helped people from multiple organizations place wreaths around the USS Arizona memorial statue.

GUHSD would like to thank cadets Steven Newberry, Jacob Rebis, Anissa Fuentes, and Bryce Rhodes, along with Chief Warrant Officer Christopher Houston, for proudly representing Thunderbird and the district as a whole.
