January 2018 – Glendale Union High School District’s annual Future Freshmen Night was a huge success with more than 1,000 people attending to learn more about the award-winning academics, extra-curricular activities and programs available.

Held on January 18, the annual event is presented on each of the nine high school campuses in the district and is an opportunity for families to discover how students are being prepared for a lifetime of success, whether they choose to enroll in college after high school or would like to be career-ready upon graduation. Incoming students received campus tours, had opportunities to speak with current students and teachers and get a feel for what high school would like for them.

Families had an opportunity to learn more about:

  • Advanced Placement International Diploma

  • Advanced Placement classes and dual-credit opportunities

  • Championship athletic programs and extracurricular activities

  • Fine and Performing Arts studies

  • Career and Technical Education courses

  • Online learning opportunities

  • Award-winning educators
