To apply, you must have a 3.5 GPA if you are in all regular classes or a 4.0 if you are in honors/AP classes and 20 hours of community service during your high school career.
Please be aware you must be a current Sophomore or Junior in good standing to apply.
NHS @ SHS members: Contribute at least 30 documented service hours to school and community each semester Participate in individual and NHS @ SHS group projects Plan potential service projects and are actively involved in the mission of the organization Maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA – 4.0 as an Honors / AP student. Are mindful of personal and public integrity and character – honor! Proudly represent Sunnyslope High School Attend monthly mandatory club meetings (before or after school) Pay $20 yearly dues (includes a tee shirt)
Criteria for selection of new members include: Scholarship Leadership Character Service (attach documentation of current school year community service to date totaling at least 20 hours). Three faculty recommendations -- give your teachers at least two weeks notice. The recommendation form is in Google forms, and the link has been shared via email with all faculty.
