Open Enrollment
OPEN ENROLLMENT
At Glendale Union High School District, every school is recognized as an “A” school and is listed by U.S. News & World Report as one of America’s Best High Schools.
Your teen is unique. Educate them accordingly. Well prepared. Well-rounded. Well done.
No matter where your student’s talents lie, GUHSD will help them rise to their full potential. Whether their path leads to college, a skilled trade, the military, or the workforce, GUHSD will prepare them for the journey ahead.
We invite families outside their assigned attendance boundaries to apply for open enrollment and experience the outstanding opportunities our schools provide.
How Open Enrollment Works
-
Any Arizona family may apply to enroll in a GUHSD school outside of their attendance boundary.
-
Applications are considered annually and based on available space.
-
Students must maintain good academic performance, regular attendance, and good behavior to continue enrollment.
-
Families do not need to reapply each year unless requesting a different school.
-
Some campuses may be closed to new applicants due to high enrollment.
The 2026–2027 Open Enrollment period begins October 3.
