Glendale Band Honored by Fulton Homes and KOOL FM
May 2012- Representatives from Fulton Homes and 94.5 KOOL FM recently visited Glendale High School to award a $1,000 check to the GHS band for their participation in the station’s “Fulton Homes Noon Salute.” The noon salute is a daily tribute to the US military, during which the national anthem is played for KOOL FM listeners.

High school bands across the Valley audition to be a part of this radio segment by submitting a recorded version of the national anthem to the station. Three schools’ versions are featured each month, and the school with the top submission is awarded a $1,000 donation to their music department.

Congratulations to Glendale’s band students and director Steve Alguire!
